IE8 affecting WordPress performance

Hey all, not sure if any of the others have experienced this, but i seem to have a major problem using WordPress on IE8.. It buggers up the whole editing, posting mode.. See attached screenshot..

Basically the sentences are not wrapping within the text box provided and also the scrolling is a big problem..

If anyone has come across the same and has managed to fix it, pls do let me know.. Otherwise maybe WP support has a solution..

    Hi,

    I have just installed a WordPress site and having the same issues in IE8. You can add the MS code
    to the header page for your theme but it’s all the main WP pages which ultimately will need addressing for the “back office” changes. I have been trying to find a solution also. regards, R
