my interests...........!!!!

well for a while i used to read a lot, specially when i was in chennai.. chennai was such a veritable treasure trove of books with many many libraries and used bookstores that catered to all my requirements.. i was heavy into all sorts of comics.. tintin, asterix & obelix, phantom (ghost who walks), mandrake the magician, flash gordon, tarzan, all of harvey comics (casper, hotstuff etc), commando, and such..
then there was the phase with all the books on general knowledge both on the home front and internationally.. something thats stuck in my mind till now.. then it was some of the fiction, western, comedy and detective novels like j.t.edson, louis l'amor, james hadley chase, erle stanley gardner (remember perry mason the lawyer), p.g. wodehouse, r.k.narayan, robert ludlum, alistair mcclean, agatha christie, arthur conan doyle, ken follet, sidney sheldon etc..

then for a while i took a fancy to lexigrams & also dabbled in poetry for a bit..

after that there was aikido - the japanese martial art - often described as the art of peace.. i call it poetry in motion.. i really enjoyed practicing this great art till i moved to durban.. in durban i continued the practice, but there seemed to be a different methodology of practice.. the spiritual side of aikido was missing here and seemed to be more physical in nature.. i hope to continue with aikido in joburg soon..

then came my enhanced interest in website design.. having commenced to study it on my own in dubai, i continued experimenting with it in south africa.. i can proudly say that i have greatly improved in this art having discovered css and its tips and tricks and how it can be used to enhance and complement html.. my personal website, and the website of my office diamond shipping services and full sail1 have been designed by me..

i am also running a few blogs on various topics..

read my blogs page for more info on the above blogs..

then of course there is my odd interest in cooking, which barring some disaster days, turns out pretty good..
